Rain and Milestones

Record breaking rain here today, which is great, but swimming with dolphins and steam train rides have been cancelled for this weekend , so Little Guy and Middle Size Girl are a bit disappointed. It is very rare for us to be home all weekend this time of year, with all the people I have either married or given birth to having birthdays within a 4 week time bracket and Christmas right in middle, but I am quite enjoying it so far. Little bit of splashing in puddles (yes that is my son in his sisters hand-me-down-pink-flower-gumboots) and a little bit of taking photos of pretty heart shaped rose petals.

I have managed to not do any work at all today, which I usually find very difficult. I thought I should get in a days rest before the busy week ahead. I have 30+ bags to make by Friday and an 11 year old's camping party to organise for Saturday. I really am lacking in time management skills and sometimes find it hard to separate home and work even though they are the same thing. I feel like I am turning each of them off and on a million times a day which can be frustrating, and usually not very productive in the end. I do manage to get things done though and would not have it any other way.

Oh I also just realised that this is my 101st post! I am going to celebrate by opening a $28 bottle of wine tonight, which is only done on very special occasions in this house. Sorry, you get nothing. However I will be thinking of each and every one of you who has ever commented, visited, read or accidentally stumbled upon my blog when Googling totally cool party. Thank you all for coming, and letting me think that the good bits of my life are sometimes just a little bit interesting to others.

Love the heart shaped petals.
And I feel your pain in the time management area. Good luck.
Breathe deeply.
